Flea + Tick Program
Who wants to worry about fleas and ticks on their lawn? Flea bites can be annoying, but tick bites can put your health at risk, carrying Lyme disease, Rocky Mountain spotted fever and other diseases that are downright dangerous to humans and pets. But rest assured, our flea and tick services guard your loved ones, so you can relax.
Protect Your Family from Lyme Disease
Cases of Lyme disease have become a serious issue in MA counties which have some of the highest rates in the country. Unfortunately, Lyme disease causes severe symptoms including neurological damage in humans. Lyme disease even affects pets, causing fever, lameness, and other health problems. At Mr. Natural Lawn Care, we understand your how much you care about your family’s safety. That’s why we offer our Flea + Tick program, with:
- Protection When You Need It: The Centers for Disease Control warns we are most at risk for tick bites during July and August. Add flea + tick control to your Lawn Care Program, and we will apply it during Round 2 in May, right when it is most needed.
- Long-Lasting and Effective Treatments: Your application lasts up to 6-8 weeks, depending on weather conditions. Even better, you get an extra dose of protection with your regular Round 3 visit. That’s because grub control also fights fleas and ticks, protecting your yard for up to another 6-8 weeks. Of course, if conditions warrant and you wish to purchase another treatment, we are always here to help!
- Safe for Humans and Pets: The granular application is applied to your lawn and outside border to your property. Although insecticide application is not organic, it is considered safe for humans and animals.
Fall Aeration and Overseeding
Our expert technicians aerate and overseed between the end of August through the middle of October. This is an additional service you may request. Why is that? Because if we were to do it in the spring, it would interfere with crabgrass control. The fall is the best time for growth!
Revitalize Your Lawn
We always perform aeration and overseeding at the same time because once we open the soil, it provides a favorable environment for grass seeds to germinate easily.
Lawn aeration: The removal of small soil plugs (or cores) from your lawn to improve air exchange and help your lawn breathe. Using a machine, our technicians go 1 to 2 inches deep into the soil to extract 1/2 to 3/4 inch cores. Then we deposit them onto your lawn, spaced two inches apart.
Overseeding: Next, we lay grass seed over the existing grass to keep your lawn growing. It allows you to thicken your existing lawn and crowd out weeds for the following season.
Fall Aeration and Overseeding
Our expert technicians aerate and overseed in the fall, during Round 4 of our Lawn Care Program. Why is that? Because if we were to do it in the spring, it would interfere with crabgrass control. The fall is the best time for growth!
